Merdeka Celebration 2011

On the 26th August 2011, the school celebrated Malaysia’s 54 years of independence grandly. The whole school was asked to come in traditional clothes to symbolise racial harmony. The band members were also spared from wearing their band uniform on this day. The event was held at the school hall. A total of 49 band members participated this event. All Form 1, 2 and 4 band members and a few Form 3 band members performed. The school band performed two songs ‘Wannabe’ and “Taylor Swift in Concert’ lead by our conductress, Heather Tan. All hard works and effort had been put into this performance so that it would be a successful one.
